Ottawa condo prices and Ottawa house prices are breaking records.
Interestingly, roughly the same number of homes are changing hands this year as in previous years.
The Ottawa Real Estate Board doesn't publish the number of homes currently for sale but given the price acceleration, we have to assume a shortage of supply or an influx of foreign capital.
The movement of foreign capital from the West Coast to Ontario and the East coast is driving up home prices in Ottawa.
