Metro Vancouver House Price Slide Continues in May

HIGHLIGHTS Vancouver house prices are continuing to slide but not as quickly as in 2018. Vancouver condo and townhouse prices have been dropping as well. High-end markets like Downtown, West Vancouver, and the Vancouver Westside have been hit hardest but the surrounding areas are also impacted. In line with historical patterns, there has been an increase in buying activity this Spring. However, with the abundance of for sale signs, many sellers will likely accept price concessions as we enter the summer months rather than wait to re-list next Spring.
